These session are designed so that you don’t need to go out and purchase gear to access the outdoors. But basic comfortable outdoor clothing, suitable footwear, is essential. A full “what to bring” list is provided after booking.

We run sessions in most weather. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule or offer a refund/transfer.

Yes. You don’t need any prior outdoor, wildlife, or photography experience.

Most sessions involve gentle walking and standing. If you have mobility concerns, just message me and I’ll adapt the day where possible.

Only the Youth Nature Explorers sessions are designed for under-16s. All other experiences are for adults unless stated otherwise.

Yes. I keep a small number of funded and supported places for anyone who needs them.
No forms or proof required, just send me a message. -
Absolutely. Many people come solo and the groups are always friendly and welcoming. Solo attendance is encouraged, as fear of going alone is one of the biggest barriers.

Any camera is fine, including your phone. You don’t need expensive gear. Much of the photography workshop is about the skills needed to find wildlife.

Terms and Conditions
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Origin Rewilding experiences, including Discovery Days, Adventure Weekends, Youth Nature Explorers, Photography Workshops, and community events.
By booking a place, you agree to the following:
1. Bookings & Payment
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full.
You will receive confirmation by email, including essential information for your course or event.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Refunds & Cancellations (Participant)
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event date:
You will receive a full refund.Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event date:
No refund can be given.Transfers:
You may transfer your place to another available date if space allows.

If you do not attend the session for any reason, no refund or transfer will be provided.
3. Cancellations (By Origin Rewilding)
If the event must be cancelled or rescheduled (e.g., severe weather, illness, unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered:
A full refund
orA free transfer to another available date.
Origin Rewilding is not responsible for personal travel costs or accommodation costs incurred by participants.
4. Weather Policy
Sessions continue in most weather conditions as wildlife is active year-round.
In the case of unsafe conditions (extreme winds, storms, flooding, etc.), the event will be postponed or cancelled and you will be offered a refund or transfer.
5. Safety, Behaviour & Participation
Participants are expected to follow all safety guidance given during the event.
Outdoor activities involve natural risks (uneven ground, wildlife, weather). By attending, you accept responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing.
If a participant behaves in a way that is unsafe or negatively affects the group, Origin Rewilding reserves the right to ask them to leave without refund.
6. Health & Medical
You must inform me of any relevant medical conditions or accessibility needs in advance so I can adapt the session where possible.
You are responsible for bringing any personal medication (e.g., inhalers, allergy medication).
Youth sessions require a parent/guardian to provide emergency contact information.
7. Children & Youth Participation
Under-16s may only attend Youth Nature Explorers or youth-specific events.
All youth participants must have parental/guardian consent.
Parents/guardians may be requested to stay on-site depending on the session’s structure and age group.
8. Equipment & Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings, including cameras and phones.
Origin Rewilding cannot accept liability for loss, damage or theft of personal items.
Spare kit (such as binoculars or field guides) may be provided, but participants remain responsible for its care during the session.
9. Photography & Media
Photos may be taken during events for educational or promotional purposes.
You can opt out at any time — just let me know before the session starts.
I will never photograph or share images of children without explicit written permission from a parent/guardian.
10. Accessibility
Most sessions are gentle and low-impact, but terrain varies.
If you have mobility needs or require adjustments, contact me before booking so I can advise or adapt where possible.
11. Community Fund
Funded and subsidised places are offered on a trust-based, no-questions-asked basis, subject to availability.
These places are limited and prioritised for those who would benefit most.
12. Liability
Origin Rewilding holds Public Liability Insurance appropriate for outdoor guided activities.
Participation is at your own risk, and you are responsible for your behaviour and safety throughout the session.
13. Changes to These Terms
Origin Rewilding may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally.
The version in place at the time of booking will apply.
